         Two points --

         1.  Have you actually looked at an APRS map of New Mexico and the 
Texas Panhandle?  It might be enlightening.

         2.  What's wrong with using a path of 
WIDE2-2,CAPILA,CAPTAN,FTSUMN,MELROZ ?
