Bob,
        I find there may be universal coverage with WIDE2-2 based on
PHG, but as you might be able to guess, there are lots of shadow
holes.  I find the Path RELAY,WIDE works quite well to take advantage
of the home stations out there that are filling holes.  An example -
RELAY2-2 won't get you out of Northeast Queens, or the Southeast
Bronx.  There are ridge lines between the locations of a mobile, and
the nearest wides
