[TangerineSDR] Blitzortung examples at AA8K

Here is my Blitzortung.

The H-field detector is a pair of three turn loops of ThickLAN
cable [75 ohm, double-shielded]. There is an amplifier right at
the top of the loop. Some stations also use E-field detectors.
The controller is similar to what the PSWS project is doing.

The magazines in the background are QST back to the 1920s,
Almost every CQ, every 73, Ham Radio Magzine, etc. My
father-in-law was a ham before there was an FCC. The toilet
tissue box is filled with vacuum tubes, not the original product.

The latest statistics for my station 1162 listed as Port Huron,
Michigan, show farthest signal recorded at 4115 km. I have seen
it capture strikes in California and Mexico. The parent project
is blitzortung.org and there is a lightningmaps.org project for
North America interest.

Not much bandwidth needed for upload to the network, otherwise
Comcast would be throttling me.
