Agreed, the number of 'modems' one could utilize floors me ... there would be a bit of engineering for me to look at, in order to incorporate into my setup ...

i was looking at airspy hf+ or rx 888 mk2 or other high end devices, that's easily $350+ and that's without shipping, then theres the bitx (?) and other units that Bob and Mark have mentioned to me ... 

I dig this sfuff - just not ready yet
