[nos-bbs] Setting Outstanding Frames =1 JNOS?

So that is probably why 300bd HF packet is pretty lame and it would be
better to use an "attached" that has no AX.25 layer like HFDD
devices. I have not had any luck with Linux/UNIXish flavored versions
of FLdigi acting as a modem. It works just fine in Windows though. I
was trying to avoid buying a specific PC for the shack. I have a PC
laptop for portable ham ops, but I am not a windows guy nor have I
been for 20 years. I am Mac/FreeBSD/Linux all the way. VaraHF is
killer, and I don't want to spring for a $1500 SCS modem when software
can do just as good of a job. However, again I would hate to have to
purchase a PC just to do Vara in the shack.

I am trying to setup a BBS to play packet with the Net105 crowd to
organize (an other than Winlink) way to pass NTS traffic back East as
I have not had any success sending radiograms to friends in TN. I
have family in rural Arkansas, and I am not hopeful radiograms will
make it there considering my experiments with Tennessee radiograms.

p.s. I am sleep deprived from getting back up to speed as a sysop,
lol. It is addicting and I wake up at 2 in the morning with this
stuff on my brain, and I can't go back to bed.
