    See: http://server1.nuge.com/~drg/AUTOEXEC.NOS

You will see that I provide two configurations for the TUN interface.
One if you are behind a NAT firewall, the other if you have a routed
static public IP address on your LAN. In the later case, the JNOS end of
the Tunnel is addressed with the Public IP address that other's will have
in their ENCAP.TXT route table.

You will also see that I do *not* use ARP (and waste IP addresses) on
the Tunnel as it ONLY has two ends, so there is no need to ARP.

I also use "Proxy ARP" on the Ethernet interface of the hosting Linux
system. In this way, the Ethernet responds to TWO DIFFERENT IP ADDRESSES,
but *routes* them diferently. One IP addr goes to the Linux TCP/IP stack
while a different address goes to the JNOS TCP/IP stack.

Hope that the embedded instructions make it clear enough to help you
configure a working system :)

    Enjoy!
