[nos-bbs] Jnos and ax25 time out

Good day to all.This is my first mail and i do not know how it is going to work.First  for jnos.Every time i telnet to some one  and i do not get any answer back,jnos still try to connect to that stations IP for at list 30 to 40 minutes till it give up. Is there anything will cut the tried time ??? 
Now AX25 connections.At Autoexec.nos i have place retries to 5   
First and sec try it goes fine then the 3rth 4 rth and 5th try it takes to long  so with the 5 retries i have it takes abt 15 minutes and then is the time out.can we fix that some how??By using the Ctrl+T   that it takes you out for all the stations you are connected.To be more clear. I connected from my console  to  VK2      then at the vk2 try RF ax25 port to connect to vk2??? 
the vk2??? is not answer so i have to wait at list 15 20 minutes  till the time out.IF i use Ctrl+T it disconnecting me from the vk2 and brings me back at my console .Can we be able to fix that??Thanks Gus ve3clg
