[nos-bbs] jnos - No more rip broadcasts received...

Hi…

My cable modem died about a week ago. At that time I was receiving rip broadcasts on jnos - no problem.  When I finally got the replacement modem (today), no more rip broadcasts received.  I of course, updated my entry on the Gateway List with my new ip address and made the necessary adjustments at the modem.  To get things working again, until I figure out what’s happening with rip, I downloaded the latest Gateways List and sourced it, and everything works OK with that.

With respect to rip, in my autoexec.nos file I had and still have the following section to start rip (unchanged since before the modem swap):

ip upstairs 224.0.0.9
rip ttl 43200  ## 12 hours
rip accept 44.0.0.1
#rip trace 9 rip.log ## use for testing
start rip

########################################

Did something change that affects us downstream folks while I was down?
