Sorry, I should have posted this on the list ...

  For JNOS, the BEACON is sent as the destination call 'ID', so if
  you want to digipeat the BEACON via one or more digipeaters (which
  is what it sounds like you want to do), then you can try this :

      ax25 route add ID rfport digi1 ... digiN
