Hi Micheal:
Back in the day, I did the 1 maxframe, but found it was very limiting.
I finally upped it to 4 then 5. Early on, memory in TNC's was a real
issue, however, this is handled by Jnos on a much larger cpu. I
typically had at least one node between me and my connecting station.
For the most part, the larger value helped throughput .. It was most
noticed when local users would connect to download mail or larger files.
My advice is to test values on your local area and see what makes things
faster.
