The prompts will depend on what you have compiled into your version.
 
So, 'YES' "YOUR" prompts will always stay consistant, unless you recompile
and add or remove a feature. 
 
But someone elses JNOS prompts can be different that yours, again, depending
on what they compiled for features.

Subject: [nos-bbs] long prompts (non-expert mode)

If I toggle OFF expert mode with "X", I get the long prompt consisting of a
series of letters, followed by ">".

 

I'm working on some automated scripting so I need to know what to expect for
the prompt.

 

Question:  Is the series of letters in the long (non-expert mode) prompt
always consistent?  Or does it changed based on, perhaps, permissions in the
FTPUSERS file?  That is, is it safe to assume that the last N-number of
characters up to an including the ">" will always be the same?
