[nos-bbs] FW: Jnos networking problem

No, I was two lan cards, in diferent tests I was create a one ms loopback virtual lan in a windows host machine, and next, ubuntu looks ( trhu vmware ) , other lan card, and was create a eth1, later when I disable ms loopback adapter, eth0 dissapears, and only have in the system eth1.

Routes? no, I don't put any routes ( I suppose you are refering to activate routing service in ubuntu between two lan cards ).

I start trace of tun0, but ( remember,  I am a ubuntu and jnos newbie ), and do nothing.

examples: 

jnos>trace tun0 1211                
tun0: input output - no broadcasts (Hex/ASCII dump)

I make pings and connect to telnet session in other machine in the lan, and all works ok, but any trace.

jnos> trace tun0 1211 \home\mbahi\jnos2\logs\captun0.txt
tun0: input output - no broadcasts (Hex/ASCII dump) trace file: \home\mbahi\jnos2\logs\captun0.txt
jnos> 

The same thing, and the system don't create any file captun0.txt. where is my mistake?

Eth1?
You got 2 network cards in there?
Have you added routes? Whats does the JNOS trace screen show you for tun0?

Yes, the problem continues, tryng the arp command.
after publish the arp command the result is : 

arp -i eth1 -Ds 192.168.0.201 eth1 pub
root at eb5jequxserver:/etc# arp
Addres                HWtype   AddresHW         Indic Máscara         Interfaz192.168.0.61             ether   00:1f:16:9c:49:00   C                     eth1

If the problem is the interface 201 don't have is own "virtual" mac, is possible create one?
note : .61 is my windows pc, livebox is the adsl router.


this is the result of ifconfig jnos command, for best diagnose of the problem.

(44.44.44.44 ) is a "dummy " test ham ip addres.
