Yes, I've been using it on a regular basis especially for those who have
dynamic addresses and use the dyndns.org process to maintain their
connectivity.  Jnos checks that address on a regular basis to make sure the
ip address is correct.
I use a separate file for those and source them in the autoexec.nos file
immediately after the encap.txt file been downloaded and sourced each
morning.

The ability to specify a hostname instead of an IP address in the route
add command has been available since late 2004 and is documented fairly
well in the existing JNOS2 documentation. Click on the link below :

Search for DYNDNS and you will find it.
