  You can set up a message size limit on the mail daemon facing the internet (smarthost).  Typically this mail daemon should also be doing spam filtering or active blocking of messages before it's forwarded to your xNOS machine for RF forwarding.

        Is there any way to have JNOS reject a mail message that is too large for 1200 baud RF.


      Do you mean mail that is being transported over RF to get to it's
      destination host (either by fbb forwarding or smtp IP over AX25) ?

      Or do you mean messages coming into your JNOS itself, and then you
      have the issue of end users connecting via RF to read them ?
