[nos-bbs] how to reply to a bulletin ?

But, Um... It's a bulletin.
Maybe bulletins have changed into something else this year
(now that we have all become accustomed to using email-reflectors)...
But in my 20++ years of packet-radio'n I don't think I've ever heard
of an interest in replying to a bulletin. I thought bulletins were by
definition a one-way communication (as we aren't allowed to broadcast).
We can ID, test, and send bulletins...
Announcements, schedules, weather advisories, hmmmmmm.
They are not really designed to be reply'd-to, are they ?
I obviously don't know what I'm talking about,
having not seen this particular context Maiko referred to.
Perhaps these messages that want a reply, are actually broadcast
topics encapsulated in a bulletin header. I personally hope this doesn't
turn into a need to have JNOS also function as a list-serv. I am
pleased that ham-packet is relatively spam-free again (thanks to
the internet and cel-a-phones). I don't care for it to get overloaded
and choked up again with for-sale ads and broadcast/soapbox topics.
Are these really 'Area' messages ? If a defined 'Area' is "soapbox",
then we simply send to "soapbox" to respond to that topic at hand.
If we want to 'reply-to' the author, it works as it is supposed to.
Again, I'm probably just missing something (or being an old-phardt..)
/;^)
