My weekend activities are related. Yesterday I fired up UZ7HO
soundcard modem on the windows box. First I was monitoring the 30
meter APRS frequency but it was dead dead dead.

Looking for some HF 300 baud packets to test the software, I dialed in
Net105 on 20 meters:

  http://mysite.verizon.net/ka1fsb/net105.html

There was lots of activity there. Even more amazing was that almost
all the packets I heard were decoded. That was "unheard of" when
using the KAM. I'll attach a traffic list to the end of this note.

This morning, on the way to work, I was wondering what I could do now
with these decoded packets... The obvious finally soaked in. Since
UZ7HO provides an Packet Engine interface - AGWPE, I can use JNOS to
attach to it and start monitoring the 20 meter net105 packets on JNOS.

Fun stuff on the agenda for tonight and it's a long work day - rats.

PS. Thanks to the magic of the packet engine connection via TCP means
I'll also be able to share the same 20 meter data on the BPQ32 node
stack.

PPS. A 'need' in the near turn is how to have the UZ7HO system
announce the availability of the packet connection so the JNOS and
BPQ32 boxes on other systems in the LAN will discover and make use of
it.

--- some packets from Net105... (Missing the Alaska station that was
coming in later...) ---
