[nos-bbs] JNOS in TTY console on bootup - FIXED

Ok, I tried the escape button, but that did nothing. Just booted on up.
I suppose that could be interpreted that I don't have any other kernals to pick from.
Anyway, today I was playing around trying to figure this out and after rebooting, I switched to console 4 and saw the familiar blinking cursor line and thought nothing had changed.
So, I switched back to the GUI and brought up a terminal screen. At the screen I tried to ping my JNOS at 44.2.14.1.
As soon as I hit the enter key I thought... "That was stupid.. I haven't manually started JNOS so I won't get a response"
Only, to my surprise, I got a ping response. I was shocked.
I telneted into my system and confirmed JNOS was running.
I toggled back to console screen 4 and it still showed nothing but a blinking cursor line.
So, somewhere in January all I can surmise now is that my Ubutnu had done an update that changed the way the console diplayed.
Before this, on computer boot-up, I could switch to console 4 and actually "visually see" JNOS running.
Now the console does not "visually show" anything. But, JNOS is running. I suspect it has been running this whole time and I did not know it.
I would like to actually "see" JNOS running. This way I can use the console session to access JNOS.
As it is now, I can at least telnet in. If JNOS does crash at some point, I just won't be able to see it from the console.
So, I'll call this a fix for now.
....Anyone know how to get the console to show the running program (JNOS) again ?
