Does anyone object to the functionality proposed below (whatever the actual
syntax may end up being)?
Bob Tenty? Bill Lewis?

Subject: [nos-bbs] smtp gateway options
Well, no one else has spoken up, so perhaps the broader options I was
proposing are of no interest. So I'll narrow the proposal. The syntax
below is just an example. I'm not particular about syntax - just the
functionality.
Current situation/behavior:
----------------------------------------------------------
Command: smtp gateway
Description: Displays or sets the host to be used as a "smart" mail relay.
Any mail sent to a host not in the domain.txt file or not found via a
nameserver query will instead be sent to the gateway for forwarding (if
#define'd). To undefined the gateway, specify "none".
New options:
----------------------------------------------------------
Command: smtp gateway nonlocal
Description: Displays or sets the host to be used as a "smart" mail relay.
Any mail sent to a host not in the domain.txt file will instead be sent to
the gateway for forwarding (if #define'd). To undefined the gateway,
specify "none".
Command: smtp gateway all
Description: Displays or sets the host to be used as a "smart" mail relay.
Any mail will be sent to the gateway for forwarding (if #define'd). To
undefined the gateway, specify "none".
