I have already done this. so I should be in the encap.txt file. plus it should be under 44.22
not 44.022
from what I understand  most people are using rip and not encap.txt   but I went ahead and did the  ampr.org  gateway thing. last encap.txt I got  I was in it.

Russ,

My apologies for my first reply; you're in the ampr.org, but not in the encap.txt that most stations use to resolve you're amprnet address to your commercial address. The info on how to do this is here:

Hi Russ,

You're not in the ampr.org domain list, so I think it's simply a matter of some stations not being able to resolve your address. According to the current amprnets file, your local coordinator is:

44.022/16 USA:Alaska         KL7JL John Stannard

I would contact John and ask him to create a new entry for your address. Also, would love to have an AXIP to AK, so drop me a line when you're all set: n6roe at n6roe.ampr.org or kwicker at dslextreme.com

                                                              Thanks and 73,

since I got my gateway back up and running after years of being down. I think I am having a problem with axip links. so far I have 3 axip link with some folks. 2 of which my system cannot connect to via the mbox prompt (one with the alphabets) and one I can connect to with no problem what so ever. all three links are setup the same way. but only 2 don't work, however if I telnet either from the console or the mbox I get to them with no problem. so I am baffle as to what the problem is. maybe someone out there can shed some light on it for me.
