I would venture to say "yes".  On a server instance you probably 
wouldn't be doing much day-to-day stuff that couldn't be done remotely.

However, the ability to telnet/ssh into a command line with full F1-F10 
button abilities could be very useful.

I'm gonna try a build here on my (now moved on significantly) embedded 
device.
