  Maiko,

   I would love to see some sort of performance stats gathered. IIRC 
George VerDuin has a patch to gather TCP stats, I'd like to see the sort 
of stats you mention. It would be absolutely wonderful to have access to 
it via log file (statlog <port> on/off maybe?) and SNMP. Either way, I'd 
be glad to run that sort of option.

   The only problem I see is that such code may pose resource problems 
for the DOS users. A compile time option maybe?
