[nos-bbs] jnos2 and compilatios

I want to ask about the compilation of jnos2.0 I achieved and the result 
is compiling a file on the 8 Mbytes, works well, except that it seems 
strange that the file is so big.
I could say whether that is correct.
I have a debian linux 5.04 pc
