[nos-bbs] JNOS2 on a Sheevaplug?

I am trying to set up JNOS on a Sheevaplug device <http:// 
www.globalscaletechnologies.com/p-22-sheevaplug-dev-kit-us.aspx>  
which is based on an ARM processor running Ubuntu 9.04 Linux.  This  
is a small, low-power device with ethernet and USB 2.0 ports.  JNOS2  
compiled without errors, but when I try to execute the binary, I get  
the normal startup header followed by a series of:

Stack violation, process killer
SP = be2a367e, legal stack range [fc680,100e80)
screen not responding - still trying

After a while there is a segmentation fault and it dies.

Any ideas?
