No - you are NOT NUTS Chris -- but as you can see from Marks really neat
response we are too late to invent a 4-port because he (and others) have
beaten us to it.

I do have another option in hand - a 16-port RS-232 EISA card you could
hook up lots of radios to.  You just need to write a driver for your OP
SYS and a mother board to plug it in to...:-)  Then you need to invent a
frequency allocation plan to avoid de-sensing one radio with another,
not to mention the look of the antenna farm.

Putting aside levity -- There are often more than one workable approach
to configuring a given set of hardware, thus "right/wrong", "unusual",
and similar concepts blur.  Perhaps one of the driving forces behind
amateur packet is the variety and the invitation to experiment.
