[nos-bbs] ftp bug?

I've run ftp thru a few paces in the past days, and found one error(?).

The "ldir" sub-command reports "no files" plus errors in global
filesystem size.
The local working directory has many files and directories in fact.

In fact, the "put" sub-command works to move a file from the working
directory.

I wonder if this matches the experience of others?
