Hi All,
Hopefully this isn't too OT. It's my hope that this is especially
relevant to listers here because some are likely to be running older
versions of operating systems that could use a little help in getting
smoothly through the daylight savings time changes that are coming up in
the US and other places. Note that for some of us, this is only two
weeks away.
I've put together an article with some odds and ends that I found while
handling my own systems that I administer, both at home and on the job.
These include Cisco, Linux, Solaris, and Windows devices. Of
particular value to pre-Windows XP SP2 users here is a nifty little
Microsoft tool that enables you to easily edit your timezone
configuration, thus changing the dates when DST begins and ends.
The article can be found at http://www.wa7v.com/Article24.phtml
73,
Brett
