I'm sad that you consider your choice in the previous configuration a
*mistake*.  For you to have made a mistake requires that you make a
wrong choice at the time you already know of a correct choice.  If we
were to look I'll bet we will find others who consider your previous
configuration to be totally correct for their own purposes...

Yes - this would be a correct response.  The "price you pay" is that all
your neighbors must know to contact you on -5, and because there is no
standard use for SSID then local knowledge or net standards for your
locale bring everyone together.
