Greetings all:
You can actually use mpack tools to upload pictures, document files (like OOo
or Word), or even to add a bunch of files in compressed format. In the old
days, when the first scanners came down in price, I could scan and send
pictures to my friends that lived in the sticks where there were no phone
lines, power etc.
I think the mpack tools are still available for Gnu and DOS users. Anyway, I
set up my station with extra information regarding this function and users
did actually use the tools that I would maintain in my /pub directory.
