I suspect that the necessary modifications to do what you are
suggesting are substantial. Of course I don't know about the
plans for JNOS but I can tell you that I will probably never
make the effort to do this for MFNOS. I just have no personal
need for it and I don't have enough users to warrant it (which
is the way I like it!).
I directly maintain about a dozen NOS programs and there is no
config I need which won't run comfortably in 640 kb. Sorry,
