[nos-bbs] help kam-xl in kiss mode

Greetings!

I'm trying to get my KAM-XL to transmit in kiss mode with Linux jnos 
(any version).

It works under minicom in terminal mode; but in kiss mode, although 
receive is perfect, the connect light never goes on when trying to 
connect to something.

Is there something I'm missing here?  In kiss mode, with jnos running, 
even without the cable to the radio port(s), the red connect led never 
comes on when I issue a connect request (c port callsign).  Works ok 
with my mfj tnc's.

Any suggestions appreciated!
