Okay, I finally got it compiled and linked for DOS.

Sorry, I only have the Borland C++ 3.0 (1991) compiler to
do this with. Hopefully it will work out for *slightly*
different versions of the Borland 3.X compiler series.

Don't ask me to compile this on that *free* Borland 5.x
compiler. I tried it some time ago, and got frustrated
very fast, decided it was not worth the effort.
