Hessu is experimenting with OpenStreetmaps via leaflet for maps rather 
than google.   He is doing this to avoid severe charges from google maps 
if they change their usage policy.

Did you just open aprs.fi, or did you search for a specific callsign-SSID?

And to answer your direct question: aprs.fi still works for me!
