[aprssig] Open Source/Commercial Use acceptable APRS Alternative?

Commercially gps trackers using the cell network tend to be the way
everyone goes these days.  You can have your own private tracking system
using open source traccar software that does most of what aprs does with a
20$ tracker and a dollar or so per device for the data sims.
