I have seen a few good suggestions for formats that made sense in the 
time but are no longer useful.

I would like to add the 3th party format to this, when bob invented this 
format it was based on tncs used in human interface to support his zip 
lan idea.

these tncs are nolonger in use for igates and for the recipient it is 
not relevant how the message got to him so the overhead is wasted 
information.

In stead of this format it makes much more sense to format them just 
like you would format a crossband digi with a smart digi truncating the 
number of hops.

this change does not have to effect how an igate works, all that info is 
simply moved from the 3th party field to the ax25 level removing all the 
overhead, normal igate filtering should prevent the packet getting back 
to the internet by another igate.
