Thanks to this silly manual, there are quite a lot of confused hams on the 
facebook groups and elsewhere. The manual calls APRS (over AX.25, AFSK FM) 
with the name "Analog APRS". We, who have gathered on this mailing list, 
know that APRS is a digital protocol, even though it would be transmitted 
over FM.

The "Digital APRS" then is not APRS at all; it is about transmitting 
position data using the DMR protocol. That, too, can be translated to APRS 
format and transmitted on the APRS-IS by DMR repeaters and networks 
supporting such functionality.
