You confirmed my suspicions.
And thank you, Bob. Our "boots on the ground" may have simple clients like
APRSDroid or aprs.fi. We'd need to be quick - beacon and go - to continue
further afield doing damage assessments.
I'll ask, on other fora, about specific APRS clients (APRSIS32 is a
favorite of mine) that would record these beacons on a map for subsequent
dispatch to EOCs, etc.
