John Langner, author of Direwolf, has implemented packet 2.2 in Direwolf
1.6.
In section 16.6 of
https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf/blob/master/doc/Why-is-9600-only-twice-as-fast-as-1200.pdf
he shows an 88% channel efficiency at 9600 bps (8448 bps effective
throughput).
Are there software solutions (no hardwired TNCs) for a multi-station packet
"backbone"?
Thanks!
Craig/KH6CP
