Are you talking about 'attended' stations (means those with open volume, 
displays to pop-up incoming calls, etc.), or 'unattended' such as 
trackers that just transmit then go to sleep?

I just called my SCS Tracker from another APRS setup, and when it sleeps 
in between two transmissions, it does not react to any incoming call or 
like. (Total coma HI).
