I hope everyone is aware of the powerful emergency communications
capabililty provided by Paul Dufresne, VE3OTB's SMSGateway:

This lets you send and receive texts with any other cellphone user
seamlessly when all you have is an APRS radio.  Its not needed when you are
cellphone coverage, but when you have no coverage and have your APRS raido,
you can still text!
