[aprssig] Balloon crossing near CLEVELAND now

Why would a balloon at nearly 40K ft have any path at all (wide1, wide2)? It appears to be lighting up digipeaters for hundreds of miles in every direction.

What exactly is the best recommended practice for high altitude APRS operations?

The tracker we flew today (KC8UCH-11).

Its now 1615 Central time and made it across Lake Erie and is now 10 miles NE of Cleveland
