That part of the world is a complete black hole for APRS.  Once you get about 
20 miles west of Grand Island, NE (used to be Lincoln, NE) there is absolutely 
NOTHING until you get within 75 miles of Denver (somewhere between Ft Morgan 
and Wiggins, CO) and start hitting the digis in the Front Range of the Rockies 
about 5000 feet above Denver.

That 300 mile stretch of I-80 and I-76 is where I use 30 meters HF APRS to be seen!
