Assuming you meant you _achieve_ better accuracy, sort of. The difference is really precision, not accuracy - these two are related but not synonymous. Use Google as I taught you to learn the difference. 

You get better precision from a NMEA string than the plaintext and MicE APRS formats. If the accuracy of your input is high enough the accuracy at the other end will also improve with greater precision in your transmission. And if your input is NMEA, then sending out the data in that format will have precision that equals or exceeds the accuracy, but it is still very verbose. Generally Base91 gives the best choice for both bandwidth and precision.
