[aprssig] APRS on a TM-D710

I traded my TM-D700 (which worked perfectly on APRS with my
Garmin GPS 18x 5m) for a TM-D710.

The TM-D710 has given me a problem with which no one seems to
be able to help.  The TM-D710 receives all of the sentences it is
supposed to ( i.e. Lon, Lat, Time, Speed, Direction etc.) however
it does not transmit the information to the gateway (Which is very
near my home).

I have the squelch turned up so that the TX doesn't key unless the
frequency is open.  I am at a loss to understand where the
configuration may be in error.
