MESH is great and my favorite but it's best for adhoc networks being
set up on the fly. The dedicated and carefully engineered WIFI
network will get you more speed and probably more range.
Here's the stats on the longest link of http://hamwan.org - this is at
5.9 GHz using Mikrotik equipment and the NV2 protocol.
