Just for a satellite gateway mode, maybe a checkbox labeled by effect like 'delay direct packets' or probably better something describing its use like 'satellite IGate mode'. 

I should add I don't think it would cause much harm if accidentally turned on for a regular IGate. The 10 second delay would not feel significant for messaging users, and the APRS IS is already useless for propagation studies anyway, but it also would have no advantage for terrestrial use, so I think an option is best.
