[aprssig] APRS and Big Data

I know this is only the tip of the iceberg, but my digipeater/igate
NEWBRY transmits objects for a few local repeaters, with the proper
format so people can use their QSY/Tune buttons.
When our local ARES groups do public service events like bike rides and
runs, I will often transmit objects (with a short path or none at all)
that represent key locations such as rest stops and first aid stations.
What other cool things should we be doing?
