So you're saying only 2m and 70cm repeaters should be beaconed because the
special APRS radios don't cover other bands?

Since when did APRS turn into catering to those special radios rather than
the greater community? Amateur radio has long since been more than only 2m
FM.

Per Bob's many posts on the subject properly formatted objects sourced at
the digipeaters add negligible load to the network.
