Sounding rocket tonight:
The sounding rocket launch window is 7:07 to 7:30 pm tonight. After
reaching max altitude the plan is to deploy barium and strontium tracers
which will produce a visible cloud of blue green and red gasses, at
altitudes expected to be 130 MILES (about 700,000 feet!) and hence visible
around most of the mid-Atlantic coast, including DC and B'mo.
Hams can hear the chatter on 146.835 Goddard repeater.
