[aprssig] DTMF memory size?

I urgently need to know the number of DTMF digits that can be stored in
MOST Ham Radio DTMF memories.



We are building an APRStt satellite (in 2 months) and we must fit the Grid
and callsign into the majority of HT memories.



If 16 digits are available, then that is perfect.  But are some or many HT
memories smaller?

Especially the cheap Chinese knockoff’s?



I know we went through this about 2 years ago, but I cannot remember the
answer!
