As Stephen mentioned, the current Kenwood radios default to WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1.

The only Kenwood radios that defaulted to RELAY,WIDE were the TH-D7 and 
the TM-D700, both of which were initially released before the WIDEn-n 
paradigm was promoted to the APRS community.
